Smart Location

Real-time location awareness for students and staff, including check-in/check-out workflows and restricted-area visibility.

Smart Location

Overview

The Smart Location module gives schools real-time visibility into where students and staff are across campus. It supports check-in/check-out workflows, attendance awareness, and location-sensitive safety protocols by combining identification methods with campus monitoring.

Key capabilities

  • Track student arrival and departure events through designated access hubs.
  • Keep authorized staff informed about movement through classrooms, exits, and restricted areas.
  • Maintain campus-wide visibility using badge-based or camera-based technologies.
  • Support parent or guardian notifications for key movement events.

Operational use

Schools can use Smart Location for automated check-in/check-out confirmation, attendance support, and escalation when someone enters an area outside the allowed schedule or authorization policy.

Privacy and control

Location data is intended for authorized users such as administrators and security personnel. The platform can be configured to match each school's operational rules, recipients, and alert conditions.
